Hō‘ikeākea Gallery features the works of artists from Hawai‘i and around the world. The name Hō‘ikeākea stems from the Ha- waiian words hō‘ike (to show/exhibit/reveal, cause to be seen), ike (to see/know/experi- ence/understand) and ākea (broad, wide ex- panse, spacious).
The gallery’s grand opening was held on April 29, and the public can visit during select hours Tuesdays through Saturdays through Aug. 25.
