Award-winning Dance Group Performs At Leeward
Kumu hula Patrick Makuakāne and his award-winning dance troupe, Nā Lei Hulu i ka Wēkiu, recently presented its entirely new show, MĀHŪ, twice at Leeward Theatre on March 25-26. The production featured some of the most well-known māhū artists in Hawai‘i today, including Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu, Kuini and Kaumaka‘iwa Kanaka‘ole.
