The 25th Annual T&C Grom Contest at iconic Queens Beach in Waikīkī enjoyed a small southwest swell, June 3-4. The sets weren’t consistent but the stoke sure was.

World Oceans Month Is Here, Another Win For Moore
Also on June 3, Sustain- able Coastlines Hawai‘i held its Island Wide Clean- up in Mokuleʻia, Waiʻanae, Kāneʻohe and even A‘ala Park in Chinatown.
In surfing contest news, a huge congrats to Hawaiʻi’s Carissa Moore and Califor- nia’s Griffin Colapinto for winning the Ranch Pro at Kel- ly Slater’s pool in Lemoore, California, on May 28.
This impact-focused clean- up kicked off World Oceans Month. Approximately 70% of Earth’s surface is ocean and our oceans are connected to major lakes and waterways through a complex drainage
The venue was the sixth (of 10) stops and is located on freshwater farmland near- ly 100 miles from the ocean. The contest took just two days, unlike ocean contests, which take 10 days due to holding periods.
