Community Art Installation Honors All Mothers
An art installation (right) organized by nonprofit Mālama Kipuka at Mother Waldron Neighborhood Park in Kaka‘ako last month celebrated the legacy
of Mother Waldron — an elementary school teacher known for supporting Kaka‘ako youth from 1912 to 1932 — and all mother figures on Mother’s Day.
