Local Chef Heads To New York To Be A Chef-in-residence
‘Āina Haina resident and Kapi‘olani Community College alumna Robynne Mai‘i joined The James Beard Foundation’s lineup in New York as a chef-in-residence for its new immersive event space, PLATFORM by JBF at Pier 57, in early May. Mai‘i is the executive chef and co-owner of Fête, located in Chinatown, as well as a 2022 James Beard award winner for Best Chef for the Pacific & Northwest.
