Kaimukī Bookshop Brings T
In late April, Kaimukī’s da Shop: books + curiosities celebrated its fififth anniversary with 25% offff all books and 50% off select books. Beyond the main entrance, book lovers roamed several local vendors’ booths in the warehouse. Attendees shopped Hawaiian flower enamel pins from Jahier Studio, paper bead and gemstone bracelets by Meristic Designs, earthenware mugs by Tamiko Claire Ceramics and aesthetic local-inspired stickers and stationery by Kākou Collective. Local author Scott Kikkawa was also on hand signing copies of his newest novel Char Siu.
