Misprint On Hawai‘i Driver’s Licenses

East O‘ahu residents who renewed their driver’s licenses in February should check for a misprint. The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announced a printing error af- fecting driver’s licenses and state identifica- tion cards issued in February. The word “Ha- wai‘i” in the upper left corner was misprinted with a sans serif font while the correct print uses a script font. The Transportation Secu-
rity Administration (TSA) and law enforce- ment statewide have been notified and agreed to treat the misprinted credentials as a valid form of identification. Replacements will be sent at no cost to those affected. Replacement cards are being reissued this month. The City County of Honolulu will contact affected in- dividuals and send replacement credentials in the mail.

East O‘ahu-based NIU Honolulu and Hawai‘i’s e-bike and e-moped rebate program provides ener- gy-efficient kick scooters, motor scooters, motorbikes and e-bikes along with free shipping to neighbor islands. To be eligible, ap-
