Local Organizations Eligible For Grant To Build Fitness Courts
Hawai‘i Medical Service Association is teaming up with San Francisco-based company National Fitness Campaign to fund up to five free outdoor fitness courts in the state.
“HMSA is proud to be a part of an effort that will bring community organi- zations and government agencies together to provide exercise courts that are ac- cessible and free,” states Jen- nifer Diesman, senior vice president, government poli- cy and advocacy at HMSA. “Physical fitness is import- ant for overall health and well-being, and it’s exciting to be a part of this communi- ty health initiative.”
