t’s no secret that Kaimukī is a foodie’s dream neighborhood, and it’s exciting to see Honolulu Burger Co. join its eclectic
array of restaurants. The gourmet burger eat- ery has been around for more than 12 years and is famous for its locally sourced ingredi- ents, grass-fed, island free-range beef burger patties and fresh sides. Its new Kaimukī loca- tion is its third space and measures in at about 1,700 square feet, offering both dine-in and takeout options. There’s a parking lot in the back of the building, as well as street parking on Wai‘alae Avenue.
“We hope to bring a fun gathering place for groups and families to enjoy locally sourced beef burgers and ingredients,” says co-owner Kia Agustin.
This burger joint uses as much locally sourced produce as possible — many of the ranches they work with are located along Hawai‘i island’s Hāmākua Coast. It also sources local bakeries for fresh burger buns to best complement its patties — patrons can choose from options like the kaiser roll, whole
