Mililani High School Varsity Girls Land On Top In Track And Field
The Mililani High School varsity girls recently became track and field OIA champions for 2022. (Below) The 100-meter sprint winners who swept the competition are (from left) Ciara Conley, Elle Rimando and Deiona Carter. They were led by captain Rimando with 12.35 seconds, Conley with 12.40 seconds and Carter with 12.41 seconds. Rimando also broke the OIA girls triple jump record with a mark of 37 feet, 2 inches and also took the long jump at 17 feet, 4.5 inches. (Right) The 4-by-100 meter relay team members are (from left) Kiana Muratsuka, Rimando, Camryn Kunihisa and Carter. The relay team took first place with a time of 51.25 seconds.
