Join The Paradise Plunge
Central O‘ahu residents can help Special Olympics Hawai‘i through the return of the third annual Paradise Plunge fundraiser.

All participants are asked to share a video or photo of themselves performing any type of water activity — such as surfing, bodyboard- ing, snorkeling or taking the plunge in a swimming pool.
Participants can take the plunge by planning a day to “sea” their favorite beach or going diving, boating, surf- ing, or even taking a dip in the swimming pool if they’d prefer. Plungers are asked to send photos or a 60-sec- ond, horizontal video clip of themselves performing their “Paradise Plunge” via wetransfer.com to develop- ment@sohawaii.org. The deadline for submissions is April 24. Following the completion of the event, Special Olympics Hawai‘i will release a 2022 Paradise
New to this year’s fund- raiser is the opportunity to be invited to an exclusive Plunge Party on a 50-feet catamaran hosted by O‘ahu Boat Cruises.
The Paradise Plunge is open to individuals, fami- lies and student groups, and anyone else who wants to take the plunge to support Special Olympics Hawai‘i athletes. All plungers are asked to raise a minimum $100 donation to receive a Paradise Plunge event shirt. There is also a reduced fund- raising goal of $50 for stu- dents of all ages, elementary
Proceeds from this fund- raiser will help Special Olympics Hawai‘i continue to provide free year-round sports trainings and compe- tition and health, wellness and leadership programs for over3,400athletesstatewide with intellectual disabilities.
