Wynn Lindsey Wins A $150 Shopping Spree At Safeway

On Thursday afternoon, Wynn Lindsey was hungry, so he stopped at Safeway on Beretania Street for lau lau, poi and pineapple. As he made his purchase at 4:15 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Wynn with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Safeway shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Safeway because it’s convenient and I like their sales,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who works in maintenance at Hickam. “Also, they have a good selection of non-GMO foods and good roasted chicken.”

Wynn was born and raised in Waianae, and graduated from Waianae High School in 1989. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach. He also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like the articles,” he said. “It’s interesting.”
