WOW (Women of Waianae)
More than 125 people attended Women of Waiane’s “Oldies but Goodies Night” Oct. 15. The scholarship fundraiser featured Elvis (Joe Perez), jazz and Hawaiian music, and a DJ spinning oldies tunes to a rocking ’n’ rolling crowd. The event raised several thousand dollars for Women of Waianae, a nonprofit that has been giving scholarships to non-traditional students on the Waianae Coast for more than 20 years.
