World War I Remembrance
The Mid-Pacific Surf Club and ‘Iolani Surf Team participated in the World War I Centennial Remembrance May 28, paddling out next to the World War I Memorial (Waikiki Natatorium War Memorial) and paying tribute to six Hawaiian merchant marines who died on the SS Aztec during World War I.
