Ocean Expo Surges Into Mall Venue

Kaneohe residents won’t need to go to the beach in order to visit the ocean when Windward Mall hosts Windward Ocean Expo from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.

The event will showcase boats, seafood, aquatic fashion and more in Macy’s parking lot, where several special zones will be set up: Boater’s World, Mermaid Boutique (women’s “sea” styles and swimsuits), Surfer Fashion Zone (for men) and Keiki Fun Zone (games and activities). There also will be live entertainment, music, food trucks and community vendor tables throughout the day.

The mall encourages patrons to document their experience by using #WOE2014 and #windwardmall on social media.
