Windward Mall Welcomes Starbucks, Three New Shops

Windward Mall has announced that Starbucks Coffee Co. soon will join its lineup of food and beverage tenants, and that three new retailers already are open for business.

The retail mix now includes Expressions Portrait Design, Aloha Beachwear and Oahu Gear Co. Expressions Portrait Design, on the upper level of the theater wing, specializes in photos of “special moments.” Aloha Beachwear at center court sells affordable swimsuits for all sizes of women. Oahu Gear Co. is a specialty kiosk with logo-branded hats, watches and sunglasses.

According to the mall’s senior marketing manager, Alex Kirley, the new merchants all offer custom products and services, adding that “we’re so excited to get our first Starbucks. We’re sure it’s going to become a fast favorite of our shoppers.”

The coffee giant will be located at center court near the food court and is expected to open in early September.

(Kaneohe residents already are sipping their Starbucks caffeine at Kaneohe Bay and Windward City shopping centers.)

The Kaneohe mall has more than 110 shops and eateries.
