Waimanalo Polo Action Sundays
Honolulu Polo Club opened its 27th season this month and offers fans an exciting sports-viewing experience at 3 p.m. every Sunday through Oct. 27 at Waimanalo polo field.
Gates open at 1 p.m. for tailgating or to purchase food from the Club House Snack Bar. Run by Therapeutic Horesemanship of Hawaii, concession proceeds support the nonprofit groups local programs. The public also is invited to join the club as social members and enjoy amenities at the tables on the clubhouse’s top deck.
The club hosts USPA tournaments throughout the season, culminating in the Ogawa Memorial Cup Oct. 27. Summer highlights include the Campos Cup June 30, Women’s Challenge Cup July 28, Imai Samurai Cup Aug. 4 and much more.
Admission is $5, with no charge for children 12 and under or for military families. Season sponsor is Care Hawaii.
