Waialua Has Egg Hunt, Art Show
Waialua Library will play host to a multitude of activities this month, including an Easter egg hunt, an art show and a book sale.
The library will mark the Easter holiday with an egg hunt and story time for keiki via “Eggs, Eggs And More Eggs” at 10 a.m. Saturday when Auntie Pam and Evangeline will read themed stories, and then two egg hunts (one for preschoolers and one for lower elementary school students) will happen outdoors.
The monthly Friends of Waialua Library used book sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the same day inside the library.
Then the following week, Waialua High and Intermediate School art students, led by teacher Howard Farrant, will put on a four-week display of their work.
They also will have a reception for their mixed media show at 6:30 p.m. April 24, when guests can meet the artists and eat free pizza.
