Wahine Soccer Playing At Waipio Field

The University of Hawaii Wahine soccer team will play all of its 2014 home games at Waipio Peninsula Stadium this season, and the action began last weekend with the Outrigger Resorts Soccer Shootout involving four college teams.

The Wahine team includes sisters Kama and Krystal Pascua of Waipahu, all-Big West honorees.

Home games, which are free to the public, generally begin late afternoon at the Waipio field.

The Wahine will host Northern Illinois at 7 p.m. Aug. 28, Seattle at 5 p.m. Sept. 1, UCLA at 7 p.m. Sept. 5 and Washington State at 5 p.m. Sept. 7.
