Wahiawa Church Tea May 4 and 5

Wahiawa United Methodist Church will sponsor another of its popular tea fundraisers May 4-5 in the church’s social hall.

Proceeds from the fund-raiser will go to support community service organizations like the Susannah Wesley Community Center in Kalihi. Among other areas of interest, the community center provides a number of educational services for low-income families and those just arriving in Hawaii.

Another beneficiary will be Heifer International, which provides food, education and farming help to poor international families.

The tea is open to everyone and even provides child care for attendees. The deadline to purchase tickets is April 30.
