The Fisher House 5K run is Aug. 18 at Pacific Aviation Museum, and combat boots are still welcome from donors. Hopefully, 5,000 sets of empty boots will line the span of Ford Island Bridge that day in memory of our fallen soldiers, including Toby Olsen (Mililani 1997), who was killed in Iraq in 2007.
