Among the 2013-14 Omidyar Fellows – the second group tapped for their achievements and leadership potential by Hawaii philanthropist Pierre Omidyar – are Kailua residents Giorgio Caldarone and Erika Lacro. Kailua executives in the food service industry, Judy McDonald and Wally Marciel, have been promoted. Judy is now president of Palama Holdings, and Wally vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s H&W Foodservice division … Kaneohe’s Sam Moku has been promoted to vice president of university relations at HPU. His boss, president Geoffrey Bannister calls him “a fountain of energetic optimism.” Sam’s also got broad experience as former city director of community services and executive director of Hawaiian Home Lands …
