Hawaii Kai marine biologist Brenda Asuncion is the new loko i’a (fishpond) coordinator for KUA (Kua’aina Ulu ‘Auamo), a nonprofit stewardship group with an OHA grant of $228,000 to build capacity of fishpond practitioners.
