Trick Or Treat Early This Year

Halloween is just around the corner, but Pearl City Shopping Center celebrates a little early this year with a keiki costume contest and trick-or-treat parade around its complex.

At 8 a.m., keiki can show off their Halloween get-ups for the costume contest, which offers 24 prizes. * Twelve first-place prizes of a $50 Pearl City Shopping Center gift card, as well as a Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Fun Party. * Twelve second-place prizes include a $25 gift card and 50 Chuck E. Cheese tokens per winner.

The gift cards are good at participating Pearl City Shopping Center merchants.

It’s free to enter the contest (and meet Chuck E. Cheese himself), and categories are themed and age-graded from 12 years and under.

Those who wish to just watch the contest can enjoy balloon animals and magic acts by Stevo the Clown.

The mouse-inspired fun zone will serve up a full menu starting at 8 a.m. for little ones who aren’t able to gobble up breakfast beforehand.

At 10 a.m., Stevo the Clown will take the children store to store collecting candy and other treats.
