Training Course To Build Skills

To support workforce development, the Building Industry Foundation has obtained a grant to train adults in the Ewa Beach area for pre-apprenticeship construction training.

The course is titled ComPACT: “Building Skills to Build Lives” and is supported by a $15,000 grant from the Haseko Training Fund.

Scholarship applications are due by June 14 and can be obtained online at biahawaii.org or at two locations: Construction Training Center of the Pacific at 94-487 Akoki St. in Waipahu, and Hale Pono Ewa Beach Boys and Girls Clubhouse at 91-884 Ft. Weaver Road.
