Things Get Tasty At Leeward CC

Leeward Community College is about to get a lot tastier, thanks to a special showcase dinner by Chef Ronnie Nasuti of Tiki’s Grill & Bar.

Nasuti joins Leeward CC culinary arts program students for a Nov. 7 dinner at The Pearl, the college fine-dining restaurant.

The Chef Showcase Dinner is offered once a semester, allowing students to work alongside established chefs and learn the tools of the trade from Hawaii’s best in the profession.

On the menu this time is New Zealand-farmed King Salmon Crudo, Kauai Shrimp & Day Boat Scallop Sphere, Truffle Scented Polenta Stuffed Quail, Island Steak & Eggs, and an Okinawan Sweet Potato Ice Cream with Waialua Coffee Tapioca.

Cost for this delicious affair is $70 without wine and $85 with wine. Seating starts at 6 p.m. and reservations are required at 455-0528.
