I saw the movie at Ward Theatre with my wife Luz.
Overall what did you think?
I thought it was a very pleasant, fun, relaxing movie.
Without giving away the ending, what was one of your favorite scenes?
My favorite scene … there were so many. Mostly just all the funny antics that the three did.
On a scale of one to four stars, what would you rate this film?
I would rate it ★★.
What did you think of the cinematography?
It was very well done.
Was the message/theme clear?
Message was just slapstick fun with a goal of clean fun.
Did it remind you of any other work in film?
No …
To whom would you recommend this movie?
Those ages 8 to 14 mostly, but it was enjoyable for all. Especially for those of my elder age who grew up with them.
Did any of the actors stand out?
All three stooges played their roles explicitly as if they were the originals.
Did you identify with any of the characters?
Not really …
What’s your favorite movie snack?
Chocolate-covered raisins.
On a different note, what’s new with you?
Just finished the Na Ali’i comedy tour in the Islands with Andy Bumatai, Augie T, Frank De Lima and Ed Kahahea. Otherwise, not much. Just doing private shows here and about.
