Taste Of St. John’s Church Set

A little church in Kahaluu is offering a little taste of paradise May 3. St. John’s By-the-Sea will present “A Taste of St. John’s” from 6:30 to 10 p.m. in Hookano Hall at 47-1074 Lihikai Drive.

The evening will feature music by Teresa Bright and Vivo, food, drinks, raffles and a silent auction, all to benefit the church and its community. Attendees must be 21 and older because alcohol will be served.

Standing tickets are $45 presale or $50 at the door. VIP tables (seating six) are $500 and include a bottle of champagne. Tickets are available online at hookanohall.com, but RSVPs must be in for VIP spots by April 27. Free valet parking also is planned.
