Talk Story May 12 In Kailua

Area lawmakers will host a talk-story community meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. May 12 in Kailua Intermediate School cafeteria. On the agenda are bills passed during the 2015 legislative session.

State Reps. Cynthia Thielen and Chris Lee, Sen. Laura Thielen and City Councilman Ikaika Anderson also seek suggestions from the public for possible action in the future.

Anderson will update attendees on matters before the City Council. Lee and the Thielens either lead or are ranking members of dozens of legislative committees, while Anderson chairs the council’s Zoning and Planning Committee and serves as council vice chairman.
