T.J.MAXX
T.J.Maxx opened its 1,001st store at Ward Centers last week offering high-quality, designer and brand name fashion, accessories and home products at 20 to 60 percent off the original price.
As you enter the store to the right, is The Runway at Maxx dedicated to a great collection of IN SEASON luxury designer items. I can’t mention any specific brands, but while touring the store before it opened last week, I immediately spotted a bag on my wish list that starts with the same initials as my first name, a whole assortment of Italian designer wallets and handbags easily recognized by its signature double F logo, and even some coveted red-soled shoes Oprah is a big fan of.
Courtney Coleman and Bree Hannemann
Courtney Coleman: Red and white stripe top (was $28, now $14.99), blue skinny jeans (was $120, now $60), black and white bag with gold chain (was $250, now $139.99)
Bree Hannemann: Hot pink silk top (was $118, now $60), teal skinny jeans (was $120, now $60), print scarf (was $26, now $13), laptop case (was $18, now $8)
All T.J.Maxx stores carry designer items, but not all have The Runway at Maxx department with such a big selection. The rest of the store is stocked with popular labels for everyone in the family and at every budget, including well-known surf brands most likely found in all Hawaii closets.
At Ward Centers, T.J.Maxx is located in the new Ward Village Shops building next to P.F. Chang’s. On Thursday (May 10), the 1,002nd store opens at Pearl City Gateway (across from Walmart), and then on May 17, the 1,003rd store opens at Pearlridge Center’s Uptown.
Featured here are some of the fashions you’ll find at T.J.Maxx. The “was” price refers to the retail price for the clothes this season at department stores. The “now” price refers to the price at T.J.Maxx. Selection is limited, but each store receives about 10,000 new products every week.
Now, Hawaii fashionistas don’t have to leave the island to be a Maxxinista. For more information, visit tjmaxx.com.
