Superheroes To Take Over Library

Superheroes plan an invasion of Kaneohe Library this Sunday, and all children are invited to meet them, learn how to draw them, and just have plenty of fun from 1:30 to 4 p.m.

“The day will be chaos, in the best possible way,” promised branch manager Cynthia Chow.

BYU-Hawaii graduate Kanila Tripp, a caricaturist and freelance illustrator, will show future cartoonists how to create their own comics from 1:30 to 2:30. Tripp has worked on dis tinguished comic classics from DC Comics, Marvel and Image Comics.

The superheroes themselves will visit from 2 to 4 p.m., courtesy of the Costumers Guild of Hawaii. Balloon fun and a Lego station also will be open from 2 to 4 p.m.
