Sueko Kaneshiro Wins A $250 Spree at Foodland

On Wednesday, Sueko Kaneshiro needed some groceries, including cereal and vegetables, so she took a trip to Foodland in Kaneohe. As she made her purchase at 2:50 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Sueko with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Foodland shopping spree.

“I come here to Foodland weekly,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, who works in food prep at Mitsu-Ken. “I check the ad and then I come here. I like everything. The people are friendly. I know where everything is, so that’s a plus. And the sales are good.”

Sueko and husband Kenneth live in Kaneohe, and have three grown children and four grandchildren. In her free time, Sueko enjoys going to Las Vegas and she loves playing tennis. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like the columns, especially Ron Nagasawa’s column,” she said. “I read it from front to back.”
