Studio Bringing ‘Core Power’ To Kahala Mall Fans
CorePower Yoga opened this spring at Kahala Mall, marking the first Hawaii location for the Mainland-based chain of 57 studios.
“We are pleased that CorePower Yoga has its first Hawaii location here,” said Floyd Williamson, general manager of Kahala Mall. “The mall and its surrounding community is the perfect market for the growing yoga industry, and we expect they will gain a following quickly.”
Founded by Trevor Tice, CorePower Yoga provided transformational benefits for Tice, an avid outdoorsman, who had suffered a serious climbing accident that left him with six permanent screws in a shattered ankle.
Managing the Kahala Mall studio will be Minnesota native Zoe Pappas, who has earned her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga certification.
“We are so excited to bring the CorePower Yoga experience to Hawaii,” Pappas said. “We love this community and look forward to providing this beautiful space for a practice that is both energizing and calming at the same time.”
She noted that the high-energy classes focus on having fun and challenging oneself at the same time.
CorePower Yoga offers a variety of yoga styles and caters to many levels of expertise – from the very beginner to those much more experienced. Taught only by certified instructors, class styles include CorePower, Hot Power Fusion and Yoga Sculpt.
The studio also offers transformative integrated wellness programs and teacher training.
