T.J.Maxx has announced plans to open three Oahu stores this May.

The first is expected to open at Ward Centers in early May, the second at Pearl City Gateway on the corner of Kuala Street and Acacia in early to mid-May, and the third at Pearlridge Center’s Uptown in mid-May.

For more than 30 years, T.J.Maxx has been known for carrying high-quality, designer and brand name fashions, accessories and home products at lower prices. The three stores will offer designer apparel for women, men and children, as well as accessories, home, beauty, footwear and jewelry.

Sports Authority To Windward Mall

Windward Mall has announced that Sports Authority will become one of its new anchor stores. The national sporting goods retailer will open its first location on the Windward side in time for the 2012 holiday season, moving into the 26,657-square-foot space that formerly housed Borders. Sports Authority currently has five locations in Hawaii with a new location in Hilo planned for later this summer, making the Windward Mall location No. 7 in the state.
