Rex Bermundo Wins A $250 Spree at Times

Rex Bermundo needed some groceries, so Thursday he took a trip to Times Super Market in Mililani.

As he made his purchase at 10:15 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Rex with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 shopping spree at Times.

“I like shopping here because I live close by, so it’s convenient,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a bartender at Hale Koa Hotel. “They have pretty much everything I need. Plus, the people who work here are really nice and helpful.”

Rex, a 1969 graduate of Kalani High School, lives in Mililani and enjoys raising orchids and roses. He also likes to read MidWeek. “It has a lot of good information,” he said. “And I like to read Ron Nagasawa’s column. He’s really funny. And I follow Bob Jones.”
