Restaurant Association Hall Of Fame Induction
Hawaii Restaurant Association hosted its eighth annual Hall of Fame induction recently in Pomaikai Ballrooms at Dole Cannery. Inductees are: Joey Cabell (Chart House), Peter Canlis (Canlis Restaurant), master sommelier Chuck Furuya (DK Restaurants), Tadao Nezu (Futaba Restaurant), Alan Suzuki (Young’s Market Co.), Sasaki Family (Lihue Barbecue Inn, Kauai), Archie and Hifumi Tanaka (Archie’s, Maui) and Uchida Family (Two Ladies Kitchen, Hawaii island). The evening also included a dine-around featuring 10 local chefs.
