Residents Complete Training

Air National Guard Airman Kenneth H. Plank graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio Texas.

Plank is the son of Michelle Adamski of Wahiawa. In addition to basic military training, airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree. Plank graduated from the University of Hawaii-West Oahu in 2009.

Army Reserve Pvt. Darryan P. Duh, a 2011 Mililani High School graduate, completed basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The nine-week training program teaches new soldiers about Army history and tradition, as well as basic military skills such as first aid, fitness, weapons, map-reading and tactics. Duh is the son of Liz and James Duh.
