Red Cross Lifesaving Training This Month
The East Oahu headquarters of Hawaii’s Red Cross chapter should be packed and busy this month as several training courses have begun or will start soon at 4155 Diamond Head Road.
Standard and pediatric first aid and adult CPR/AED classes begin early this week. Still ahead, however, are the following topics. Signups are accepted one day ahead of class. For more information, call Kerrey Gomes at 739-8119.
• Adult & Pediatric First Aid & CPR/AED, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5, 13, 21, 22, 26 and 31; fee $110.
• CPR/AID for the Professional Rescuer & Health Care Providers, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 6 and 19; $130.
• Babysitter’s Training for ages 11 and older, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 13; $85.
• Cat & Dog First Aid, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 20; $70.
• Bloodborne Pathogen Training, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 20; $50.
• Administering Emergency Oxygen, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 20; $50.
• First Aid, CPR, AED Instructor Course, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
(AED stands for auto- mated external defibrillator.)
