Ranch Hosts Farm Fair July 13-14
The Hawaii State Farm Fair returns to Kualoa Ranch for a showcase of island agriculture from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 13 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 14.
Sponsored by Hawaii Farm Bureau Federation in partnership with the Hawaii State 4-H Livestock Council, state Department of Agriculture, the 51st annual event will offer exhibits, demonstrations and workshops, along with the traditional livestock pavilion and exhibits, live entertainment, food (including grass-fed Kuala Ranch beef), horse rides and contests.
Kamehameha Schools will run the country market and plant sale. Also planned are family activities, keiki rides and bouncers. A dozen Eat the Streets food trucks will be back for the second year selling “tasting size” portions to the crowds.
Admission is $5 for adults; children and students with valid ID are admitted free. Those with a Foodland Makai Card get a $1 discount. The ranch also will offer 50 percent off on its tours and activities.
