POP-UP BOUTIQUE

Pure Joy Adornments presents Pop and Launch Aug. 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. at M Nightclub in celebration of its new purejoyhawaii.com website. There will be an exclusive pop-up boutique by Fashionista’s Market, Basique Threads, Miki Nola, Color Cuts, Cassandra Rull, Noteworthy and Pure Joy Adornments. There also will be a hair, lash and beauty bar by Color Cuts, and the first 50 guests will receive a Pop and Launch swag bag. There also will be happy hour drink specials and halfoff happy hour appetizers from 4:30 to 8 p.m, as well as music by M resident DJ Jami of Nocturnal Sound Krew. Pure Joy Adornments is an exclusive jewelry line handmade in Hawaii by Joy Graham and is sold in various boutiques throughout the state. The event is free and open to adults age 21 and over. M Nightclub is located at Waterfront Plaza (formerly Restaurant Row) at 500 Ala Moana Blvd.

NORDSTROM TOPS

Beginning Sept. 10, Nordstrom launches TOPSHOP and TOPMAN at 14 of its stores and on nordstrom.com, including Nordstrom Ala Moana. Nordstrom will be the only large U.S. retailer to sell a broad assortment of the British fashion brands’ merchandise instore and online. TOPSHOP and TOPMAN have flagship stores in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles (opening spring 2013), and its own U.S. designated websites, topshop. com and topman.com. The TOPSHOP and TOPMAN departments at Nordstrom will have mannequins, visual merchandising and store fixtures supplied from the U.K., and high-profile locations within the men’s and women’s apparel areas. It will feature a full selection of the hottest looks from TOPSHOP and TOPMAN, including limited-edition pieces created especially for Nordstrom.
