Polo Action Every Sunday At 3

Honolulu Polo Club is into its second month of the 2012 season at the Waimanalo polo grounds, hosting lively competitions every Sunday through Oct. 28.

Matches begin at 3 p.m. this year, which marks the club’s 26th anniversary season. Therapeutic Horseman-ship of Hawaii mans the clubhouse snack bar, which is open to HPC members.

The public is welcome to enjoy “hoolaulea tailgating” when the gates open to early birds at 1 p.m. Admission is $3, with children under 12 and military and their families admitted free (with ID).

Next up is the Naturally Hawaiian Honu League Aug. 5, the Kaoru Kiwi Challenge Aug. 12 and the USPA Women’s Challenge Cup Aug. 19.
