Pearl City Lions Breakfast Feb. 8
All area residents and their sweethearts are invited to Pearl City Lions Club’s eighth annual Valentine’s Breakfast, set for 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 8 in the Pearl City High School cafeteria.
On the menu are scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, rice, cornbread, fruit, coffee, juice and water – all for $6 per ticket. The event also offers a country store selling orchids, baked goods and plants. Boy Scout Troop 27 will man the curbside breakfast drive-through service.
All proceeds go to support the club’s scholarship fund and projects serving area schools and the Pearl City community. For tickets and more information, call Wayne at 487-6567.
The event also will serve as a collection point for used eyeglasses, which Lions clubs clean and distribute to needy people in developing nations.
