The Hawai‘i FIRST Ro- botics Competition Regional brought together 37 teams from across the state and from around the world to compete in a series of challenges that tested their skills in engi- neering, programming and problem-solving. Charged Up presented by Haas is a game played in the 2023 FIRST Robotics Competition, during which teams compete to score points by moving objects called “game pieces” onto a special area called the “grid.” The game is played on a large field with two sides, one for each team, and each side has a special area called the “com- munity” where teams can score points.
