• FISH FRY The Knights of Columbus Council 6307 will hold a fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m. March 31 at St. John Vianney Parish Hall (920 Keolu Drive) in Kailua on March 31. It will raise money for students of St. John Vian- ney and St. Anthony schools who are in financial need, and for local organization Ho‘ōla Nā Pua. The event will feature fried fish, hush puppies, coleslaw, fruit and french fries. • ART CONTEST Com- munity Works in 96744 is hosting a virtual art contest. CWC 96744 is an underage drinking prevention coalition funded by the state Depart- ment of Health’s Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division through Federal Discretion- ary Strategic Prevention Framework-Partnerships for Success Grant funds. Youth ages 9-24 who live within the DOE Windward District are eligible to submit entries, regardless of where they go to school. Entries must be an original counter-advertising piece that challenges or pokes fun at the alcohol industry in one of four categories: writ- ing and poetry, photogra- phy and digital art, drawing and painting, or a 45-second counter-advertisement/public service announcement vid- eo, which must include the
funding statement previously mentioned. Entries need to be emailed to kcfc@pacthawaii. org, and posted to a public Instagram account, and it should mention @cwc_96744 and use #cwc96744artcontest by April 7.
