Registration Open To Volunteer At Kāne‘ohe Site For A Cultural Program
Registration is now open for Movers and Shakas’ third cohort of the Hawaiʻi Talent Onboarding Program, which is scheduled for spring and will include volunteering at Kāko‘o ‘Ōiwi in Kāne‘ohe.

workplace effectiveness.” Participation in HITOP is employer-sponsored and companies can enroll one or multiple high-performing newcomers or returning ka-
maʻāina and their partners in the program. It includes weekend and after-work ac- tivities, such as community service, visits to key cultural sites, leadership workshops,
networking events, and talk-stories with community leaders and cultural practi- tioners.
The six-week community and cultural orientation pro- gram is designed for recent- ly relocated residents and returning kama‘āina to learn about Hawaiʻi’s culture, take part in community service and network with profes- sionals across industries. Participants are enrolled through their employers, and applications will be open through the month of March with activities beginning in April.
Based on surveys from HI- TOP’s fall 2022 cohort, 90% of participants improved their work effectiveness and deepened their sense of be- longing in Hawai‘i.
