The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program needs tax preparation and coun- selor volunteers, as well as facilitators and coordi- nators, for tax sites in Ka- huku, Kāne‘ohe and Kailua for the upcoming tax sea- son (January-April).
Those who are interest- ed can complete the online volunteer form and a Wind- ward AARP representative will reach out to discuss the program. The organiza- tion emphasizes that, thanks to the help of volunteers, AARP Foundation Tax- Aide is able to offer free tax assistance to those who need it most.
Training for online tax prep or coordination is given in January, laptops are provided and tax sites are open February through mid-April.
