Junior Lifeguard Program Ceremony Held In Waimānalo
To wrap up the five-week City & County of Honolulu Junior Lifeguard Program, Duke’s Waikīkī hosted a July 15 closing ceremony on the shores of Waimānalo Beach. The event celebrated the achievements of each participant and recognized the future generation’s commitment to ocean safety. This summer, Duke’s Waikīkī, led by general manager Drew Crocker, partnered with the city’s Ocean Safety Division in support of the Junior Lifeguard Program’s return. The restaurant donated 125 bentos, water bottles for participants and instructors, and snacks throughout the program.
