Aloha surfers and beachgoers. Mid-November is still seeing some fun south swells that reached just over- head — a rarity for this late in the season. In fact, the re- cent south in town was big- ger than country at the time — another rarity.

La Niña For Surf And For Expectant Dad Kai Lenny
Another feature of our La Niña pattern are more light and variable days. We had nearly 10 days straight of ultra light winds! This meant many glassy mornings and mushy mid-day/afternoon sea breezes.
Kai is one of our sport’s most articulate athletes and kicked off this big news break with “And then there were four! I can’t be- lieve I’m gonna be a dad to TWINS!” via Instagram. He added, “...about to drop into the greatest ride of my life.”
