  Kupu and Kōkua Ha- wai‘i Foundation recently opened the application period for the Hawai‘i Youth Sustain- ability Challenge for the 2021-22 school year. HYSC is an initiative that aims to empower Hawai‘i youth to create solutions to conser- vation and sustainability challenges in their schools and communities. Selected students will receive fund- ing, mentorship and training to support their innovative and grassroots environmen- tal initiatives.
