AARP Hawaiʻi’s Fast, Healthy and ʻOno cooking webinars are back with recipes and live instruction for making Hawaiian lūʻau at home to using fresh herbs and much more.

Join AARP Hawaiʻi and Windward Com- munity College ʻUala Leaf Café chef Daniel Swift at 5 p.m. on Thursdays for the weekly online classes.
Those who register will be emailed the recipe of the dish being prepared ahead of time so they can cook along with the chef. You can also watch the webinar as a Face- book Live simulcast on the AARP Hawaiʻi Facebook page.
“The dishes featured in the cooking se- ries are fast, healthy and ʻono, and the recipes are written so that any home cook can prepare them,” states Jackie Bo- land, AARP Hawaiʻi outreach director. “Participants are able to ask questions of chef Swift and are encouraged to modify the recipes to suit their personal taste,” Boland adds.
The schedule includes Hawaiian lūʻau at home on Feb. 25; Korean and Mexican rice bowls on March 4; cooking with fresh herbs on March 11; a beef ribs butchery lesson on March 18; and seared ʻahi on March 25.
